A friend and I stopped here for brunch the other day and we had a really nice time. They have a nice outdoor patio as well as an indoor dining and bar area thats decorated so pretty with plants and lights. We tried the Bananas Foster Grande French toast, Prosciutto Eggs Benedict, Potatoes, Bacon, Espresso Martini, and Mimosa. Everything was really good! The French toast was perfectly sweet and the eggs Benedict yolk was perfection! The potatoes were nicely cooked but could have used some kind of seasoning. The only thing we were sad about is they didn't have the maple glazed bacon entree so we got a side of bacon instead. I would definitely come back here again for the prosciutto Benedict and to try the maple glazed bacon and bottomless mimosas for just $29!

Walked here and was greeted instantly. Sat at the bar and was helped right away with curtesy. The drinks and food were amazing. Strong drinks and very tasteful food. I ordered the short rib fettuccine. Which came very quick, with complimentary bread. Prices are super affordable too compared to other restaurants. Manager walked around and greeted me and asked how was everything. It's beautiful in here as well. Huge recommendation.

The food was excellent - grilled halibut, mushroom risotto and cauliflower and beet salad. The one rather annoying thing was that the buss person clearing the tables was very aggressive about taking away plates, and even took the bottle of water away without asking before we were finished drinking it. By the time we realized what happened it was too late. Otherwise, the server and staff were excellent. Also, when we arrived the place was quiet and pleasant until a very loud table of 10 people arrived that had obviously already started their cocktail hour. It was almost impossible to have a conversation. I realize this was out of the control of management, and in hindsight I would have preferred a table in the bar area or outside.

Love this place! The food was superb, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was relaxing and pleasant. Our server gave us a wonderful wine recommendation. We enjoyed the eggplant dip, the fried smelt, and the grilled pecorino cheese. I had the oxtail rigatoni, which was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend this place!

Nora was a lovely place to eat. Small inside but it's attached to a boutique hotel. The ambiance at night is dark and intimate. What stuck out most to me was how nice and attentive the staff was. There was never a time that we were without water, plates were consistently cleared, table was wiped down after the plates were cleared and we were asked how we were multiple times. I appreciated the hospitality! The food was also delicious! The dips we got weren't my favorite but they were still tasty. However, I loved the complimentary focaccia bread and olive spread. Delicious! The olive appetizer was good, as well. You get a lot of olives which is nice when you're an olive gal like me! I love trying Caesar salads wherever I go, and this one was crunchy and cold, not too heavy on the dressing. They also put actual anchovies on top which weren't bad at alll! For the entree we both got the ravioli and I was super impressed. I am Italian and have Sicilian roots so the way they made their ravioli was much like we do at home, including the sauce which tasted identical to my Nunnie's. The star of the show was dessert. We ordered the Baklava Gelato Sundae which may have been one of the best desserts I have ever had! It hit all of the right notes for me: crunchy, creamy, sweet and savory. I would go back to Nora based on that alone! I also ordered sorbet but they were out of it so they gave me their seasonal sorbet on the house which was so kind of them. Definitely worth trying if you're in Chicago!

I was heading to Starbucks from my hotel and saw Nora's on my stroll. I looked it up on Yelp and instantly due to the reviews, photos of the food and menu I made a reservation for 6 for that same evening The environment was dark, cozy and vibrant. The host was very accommodating for some of our needs. Our server, Catalina was very pleasant. We brought our own wine which has a fair corkage fee and policy of $30 a bottle as long as it is not on their wine list We started with the trio of spreads which was a beautiful looking plate. The most interesting was the beet spread but the hummus was the best. Eggplant was just just ok The shrimp appetizer was not very good. The sauce was not very developed and the shrimp was bland We ordered a mushroom and truffle oil risotto entree as an appetizer to taste and share. It was incredible. Cooked perfect and so fragrant We had salads. I had the beet and cauliflower salad and loaded with Gorgonzola chunks. It was HUGE! Seriously three people could have split the salad. No one was able to finish theirs. It's not a bad thing. Just I was getting full so I left half over The grilled halibut flavor was delicious and a nice thick cut but it was over cooked. Also I would have liked a nice piccata sauce on it. But I still enjoyed it The lamb shank, which I only tasted, was one of the star dishes At the end we had an affogato, which is always great and a world class classic Negroni! Nora is a gem and as this restaurant matures will only get better. Prices are reasonable and I would definitely come back Grazie Nora- Grazie!
